For now I've listed the inventory estimate at 7-9000. Nav had a number near the high end of this range, while my last estimate was around the 7000 mark. Some of the difference is their 200 video games, and items currently on order, as well as titles that have arrived since I last checked on them. The remainder of the gap is apparently due to a quirk in their systems, where items transferred temporarily to the Blairmore store have to be marked as "On Order", instead of "Available Soon". I think this is due to be fixed in a future software update. I thought a (now accurate) "On Order" tag was also supposed to take a few days to reappear, but it seems to be there already, so I may have misunderstood.
I'm not completely clear on the details of their situation last spring and summer - there seems to have been some sort of arrangements that didn't work out as expected, in addition to the infamous "pile of discs in the back of the warehouse". As I told Nav, I'm willing to let it go as an extreme case of rampant optimism on their part - this may be overly kind for some of the info from last July, but I'll start fresh with Canflix Mk II...
