Questions and comments on Canadian DVD rental sites

When I first saw the news I was upset, I have been using this service for quite some (started on hollyweb) and have been fairly satisfied. I work shift work and a lot of it. TV sucks at 5am so this was a fit for me as most of my viewing is done at that time. I can't say for sure if I'm a heavy user but probably have gone over a time or 2. I don't really want to have to start worrying about where I'm at or if I'm going to reach my limit and have to come home to nothing to watch. The newest plans don't have a cap but 52 bucks may be a little more then I might want to swallow.

Also the fact that the amount of movies I rent that are new releases are not that many, the quality of movies out of hollywood have gone down hill and alot of the titles I actually get are older and are actually not worth that much but the convenience made it worth it. I have seen many titles in bargain bins for $1.99 to 6.99.

I will have to wiegh my options in the next little while and decide if this still works for me.

For those reading this thread, A new thread has been started Jan 26, as ZIP has now officially introduced their caps.

I've taken the liberty of locking this one off, as it is already 17 pages long!
